保育台灣紫斑蝶 林佳龍盼與墨西哥締結姐妹谷
台灣的紫斑蝶是世界上唯二會越冬型的蝴蝶之一，交通部長林佳龍今天說，希望可以讓台灣茂林的紫蝶幽谷跟墨西哥的帝王斑蝶谷締結姐妹谷，讓這兩種會越冬型的蝴蝶可以深入交流。
交通部觀光局今天舉辦「2019年紫斑蝶生態旅遊發展國際研討會」開幕典禮省錢方法發燒好康，交通部長林佳龍會前受訪表示，亞洲台灣的紫斑蝶與北美洲墨西哥的帝王斑蝶是世界上唯二會越冬型的蝴蝶。
林佳龍指出，這種會越冬的紫斑蝶每年冬天跟春天都會從北到南，再從南到北飛越，但過去交通的開發，也影響了紫斑蝶的遷徙路徑。
他說，不過12年前高速公路局首度架設防護網，讓「國道讓蝶道」，也引起了國際注意，更讓台灣的紫斑蝶致死率3%下降到千分之3。
林佳龍表示，希望可以推動台灣茂林的紫蝶幽谷跟墨西哥的帝王斑蝶谷，建立姐妹谷，讓雙方可以進行深入交流，拉抬紫斑蝶在國際的知名度，相信可以吸引許多國際人士來台追蝶。
林佳龍指出，紫斑蝶過去10年來數量越來越多，研究也越來越多，未來可以做生態旅遊的亮點，
觀光局表示，今年清明節期間，高速公路局在國道3號林內段251K至253K辦理「紫蝶飛越防護網」的路殺防治工作中，捕捉到去年高雄市茂林區標放的小紫斑蝶，同時記錄到近十年瞬間最大量的穿越量，於3月25日甚至到達每分鐘1200隻的「紫斑蝶河」奇觀。
觀光局說，研討會是交通部首次邀請北美洲帝王斑蝶推廣單位「帝王斑蝶教師網絡」（Monarch TeacherNetwork, MTN）至台灣分享跨國境、跨越不同棲地型態的公民教育案例。（中央社）
廖任磊轉投西武 球團期待即戰力

去年季後被讀賣巨人球團釋出的旅日投手廖任磊，今日正式加盟西武獅球團，球衣背號50，推定年薪600萬日圓。廖任磊在入團記者會上表示，感謝西武獅最早表達網羅意願，總經理渡邊久信則是期待廖任磊成為即戰力。
西武獅早期有郭泰源效力，目前陣中旅日球員有投手郭俊麟、野手吳念庭，許銘傑為二軍投手教練。廖任磊表示，從小就看著郭泰源打球，現在教練團有許銘傑，真的遇到困難時相信可以提供幫助。
渡邊久信指出，廖任磊最重要的課題是控球，也有超過150公里的球速，並具有美、日職棒資歷，希望能在球場上好好發揮，可以成為球團即戰力。
去年10月廖任磊遭巨人隊釋出，11月參加日職戰力外測試會，最快球速飆出152公里，如願爭取到新合約，今年球季轉戰西武獅。
