裕隆「亞洲最強外援」桑尼（Sani Sakakini）因背部傷勢嚴重，日前搭飛機返加拿大養傷，預計最快要到農曆年後才能歸隊，而裕隆今天找來台銀棄將史貝斯救火，但效果有限，最終裕隆83比89敗給璞園，苦吞三連敗。
桑尼是本季最佳洋將的熱門人選，但傷勢卻不斷找上門，日前曾因腳踝傷勢缺席，最近又因背傷問題，打打停停，讓教練團傷透腦筋。
桑尼場均能攻下24.5分和13.5籃板，加上經驗豐富，能裡能外，給裕隆很大的助益，如今因傷缺陣，也影響到球隊戰績。
即刻救援的洋將史貝斯，拿下1週的測試合約，今天繳出22分、10籃板雙十的成績，但與團隊配合仍有代溝，無法幫助球隊贏球。
裕隆總教練李啟億坦言，遇到洋將受傷也是沒辦法，桑尼仍是球隊優先選擇的洋將，若他傷勢痊癒，當然會找他回鍋。
